Pop-up Dinner - St Patrick meets Yorkshire
With St Patrick's Day falling at the weekend, what other excuse is needed to celebrate Yorkshire's amazing larder and the food heritage of Ireland? We think that's a pretty good reason so, come enjoy, Yorkshire meets Ireland in the first Kitchen Social with a focus across the water to Ireland.
As is always the case Sue Nelson, Yorkshire Food Hero 2016 and founder of Yorkshire Food Finder, her scouts will be out-and-about collecting the best the season has to offer - perhaps the first wild garlic of the season. These great Yorkshire ingredients and the dishes they enable will all be served in a style reminiscent of the Emerald Isle.
The one exception to the Irish theme is our signature Yorkshire cheese board. We will be including cheeses from the Botton and Shepherds Purse creameries which have achieved a gold medal at the World Cheese Awards.
