Food Trail - Remember, remember -
A specially themed informal and fun Kitchen Social featuring a five course dinner menu devised by Sue Nelson, Yorkshire's gourmand on the go to showcase the delights of Yorkshire's abundant autumn seasonal larder.
Over quirky canapes meet your fellow guests and browse the 1,600 cookery books collected by Sue Nelson over more than 30 years.
As you take your seats for dinner in Yorkshire Food Finder's stunning kitchen-dining space, you can be sure of a starter that speaks of autumn and a main course that combines ingredients to delight in the season.
Next you will enjoy a short fireworks display. The dessert that follows will amuse with a twist on bonfire favourites before, if you have room, the Yorkshire cheeseboard is served. But don't rush away as you finish with coffee served with decadent sweets hand-made by Sue.
As Yorkshire Food Finder doesn't have a liquor licence it's a case of bring your own.
We are located in Wheldrake, just nine miles from York
Our guests usually arrive from 7.00pm for 7.30pm when canapés are served, with the main event starting at 8.00pm. If booking a taxi for your return we suggest 11.00pm; but we don’t mind if you linger longer.
Access to our venue is via two steps and is then level throughout.
While we cater for known allergens, we do use many of them in our kitchen. We like to know of allergens and other dietary requirements seven days before the date of your meal with us.
